The Concept of Corporate Strategy
A corporate strategy is a long-term approach to implementing a company's business plan in order to achieve corporate goals. It serves the long-term orientation of an organization to ensure economic success (Onpulson Lexicon).
Strategy is the direction and scope of an organization in the long run that gains advantage in a changing environment through its configuration of resources and competencies with the aim of meeting stakeholder expectations.
Corporate strategy must aim at a constantly changing, dynamic balance of a multitude of bets.
Strategy in the future? It seems almost certain that an exponential increase in knowledge with regard to competitive strategy leads to a rapid increase in change.
